One of the easiest ways to increase productivity, based on 71% of respondents’ answers: more frequent, short breaks. These brief periods of downtime could be used to check social media, grab a snack, chat with coworkers, or do whatever else they might need during that time. Many CEOs are recognizing the cultural shift taking place into a work-life “blend,” as opposed to a balance. For instance, many employees answer emails or do other small, work-related tasks after the workday has ended, which more than compensates for these little breaks throughout the day. Whatever you choose to do, make it clear and consistent in your employee policy.
